Ford - EcoBoost Badge
Explaination and usages
EcoBoost

What does actually the EcoBoost badge mean on vehicles by Ford?

Designation by Ford is used for marking their cars powered by engines based on the technology of the same name. These are petrol engines equipped with direct injection and turbo charger. The idea behind the EcoBoost technology is to achieve the power and torque of a higher-capacity engine, while being 20% more fuel efficient and produce 15% less pollution. This label is sometimes replaced or accompanied by the GTDi badge.
