Two significantly similar cars, no doubt about that. Still, each one has something different to offer. Having both cars powered by electric engines and utilizing the 5-door suv body style within the same 'SUV' segment, the only major difference here really is their wheel drive configuration (rear for the Mercedes Benz and 4 x 4 in the case of the Audi). The first one has a Mercedes Benz-engineered powertrain under the hood, a PMSM Electric unit in formation 0 / 1 with 245hp unit, while the other one gets its power and torque from a IM Electric unit in formation 1 / 1 with 340hp engine designed by Audi.

When it comes to performance, both vehicles provide similar experience, so I wouldn't point any of them out. Q8 e-tron offers somewhat better range. It's really tough to make a final decision here, but if I'd need to, I'd say Audi. In any case that's my personal view, built upon all the data available to me.
