SAAB - TiD Badge
Explaination and usages
What does actually the TiD badge mean on vehicles by SAAB?
Abbreviation of Turbo-compressor Injection Direct. This badge marks SAAB vehicles powered by turbo diesel engines, regardless of whether it is an injector pump or common rail system. It is worth mentioning that SAAB has never developed its own diesel engine, but has rather used one of the partner companies ones (General Motors, Isuzu, Fiat etc.).
