Jaguar - R Badge
Explaination and usages
R

What does actually the R badge mean on vehicles by Jaguar?

R actually stands for "Racing" and is proudly displayed by the most powerful cars within any of the Jaguar model range. By definition those are the "Supercharged" vehicles, equipped with a mechanical compressor, although there are exceptions. Apart from the highest specs engine, R versions have more powerful brakes, tuned sport suspension and some different detailing on the bodywork and in the interior.
