Two significantly similar cars, no doubt about that. Still, each one has something different to offer. Having both cars powered by electric engines and utilizing the 5-door suv body style within the same 'SUV' segment, the only major difference here really is their wheel drive configuration (front for the BYD and rear in the case of the Škoda). The first one has a BYD-engineered powertrain under the hood, a PMSM Electric unit in formation 1 / 0 with 228hp unit, while the other one gets its power and torque from a PMSM Electric unit in formation 0 / 1 with 204hp engine designed by Volkswagen.

It all continues in the same direction, with BYD offering somewhat better performance, just enough to call it quicker. The Czech car provides significantly better range, something that shouldn't be overlooked. I believe that, when we take all into account, we have only one winner here - the Škoda.
