Abbreviation of Twin Turbo-compressor Injection Direct. This badge marks SAAB vehicles powered by common rail turbo diesel engines equipped with two turbo chargers. It is worth mentioning that SAAB has never developed its own diesel engine, but has rather used one of the partner companies ones (General Motors, Isuzu, Fiat etc.).
