Chrysler - SRT Badge
Explaination and usages

What does actually the SRT badge mean on vehicles by Chrysler?
Abbreviation for Street Racing Technology. Used by FCA Group vehicles (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge) marking sports models from their range, typically equipped with the most powerful engines and modified components adjusted to their sports performance. The number following the SRT prefix denotes the number of engine cylinders the vehicle has.
SRT began as "Team Viper" to develop the Dodge Viper. It later merged with "Team Prowler", the developers of the Plymouth Prowler and together became Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). This was then renamed to Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO). Since all PVO vehicles used the SRT name, the PVO development group was renamed SRT in 2004.
