FIAT - JTD Badge
Explaination and usages
What does actually the JTD badge mean on vehicles by FIAT?
Short for Jet Turbo Diesel, it's a FIAT Group's label for common rail diesel engines adopted by Alfa Romeo and Lancia as well. These were in line 4 or 5-cylinder engines with the option of 2 or 4 valves per cylinder. These engines were well represented outside the FIAT Group, however the markings on the models of other manufacturers were different.
